On Monday San Miguel didn’t have the best results. The Christians were at home to La Marina securing only 3 points and missing out on the shot difference, 86 – 88. The best result came from Pat Luijk, Ann Taylor & Jim Taylor 23 – 10.

The Moors were away to San Luis Wellingtons and gained 4 points, 76 – 92, The highest winning rink were Margaret Patterson, Allan Patterson & Eddie Cowan, 25 – 11.

 

On Wednesday, San Miguel Deputies were home to Country Bowls where they lost 3 – 9, 100 shots to 87. The winning triple were Stan North, Jack Jackson and Bill Brownlee 17 – 14.

San Miguel Sheriffs were away to Quesada Tigers where they lost 5 – 7, with a shot difference of just 4 points. The best winners played in the rinks and were Margaret Patterson, Janet Parr, Steve Parr and Stuart Hemmings 25 – 9.

San Miguel Marshalls were also away to Country Bowls Meerkats where they also lost 2 – 10, 67 shots two 104. The best winners played in the trips and were Dave Askew, Angela Broadhurst and Ken Guiney 26 – 12.

 

A reminder that the Wasps sessions take place on Wednesdays from 1.30pm for 2.00pm – €5 for an afternoon’s bowling with shoes and bowls available to borrow. Due to the popularity of the Wasps, first time bowlers are asked to attend an initial coaching session on Tuesday afternoons, starting at 1.45pm, by appointment ONLY.
