On Monday San Miguel had two matches at home, and one away.
At home in the morning San Miguel Dalmations played La Siesta Pioneers winning 8 – 2, 79 shots to 57. The best winning triple were Ann Young, Frank Scotthern and Barbara Scotthern, 26 shots to 12.
Also on Monday morning San Miguel Alsations were away to Greenlands Maples losing 4 – 6, 68 shots to 82, the best winning triple were Pat McEwan, Mike Bayfield and Mike Douglas 24 shots to 12.
On Monday afternoon San Miguel Beagles were home to Greenlands Sycamores, winning 8 – 2, 80 shots to 53. Best winning triple were Anita Brown, Lynn Greenland and Fred Willshire, 27 shots to 12.
On Thursday San Miguel Bulldogs played a re-arranged game against Country Bowls Geckos losing 4 -6, 73 shots to 75, The two winning triples were Lynn Greenland, Gail Willshire and Fred Willshire 20 shots to 14 and Anita Brown, Mary Whitelock and Ron Nairey 24 shots to 18.
On Friday morning San Miguel Bulldogs were home to Vistabella Lanzadores where they ‘had a bad day at the office’ losing 10 – 0 78 shots to 51.
On Friday afternoon San Miguel Boxers were away to Vistabella Picadors winning 7 – 3, 74 shots to 64. The best winning triple were Frank Scotthern, Barbara Scotthern and Bob Donnelly 24 shots to 11.
A reminder that the Wasps sessions take place Wednesdays 1.30pm for 2.00pm – €5 for an afternoon’s bowling with shoes and bowls available to borrow. Due to the popularity of the Wasps, first time bowlers are asked to attend an initial coaching session on Tuesday afternoons, starting at 1.45pm.
