Greenlands bowls club is looking forward to an exiting season in the winter leagues with 4 teams entered in each of the Monday ( SABA) League and Friday ( SOUTHERN ) League, thus ensuring plenty of bowling for our members at this time.
We have also entered a team in the WINTER LEAGUE thus offering those willing to travel a chance to play against our friends from up north, with a bus provided for what is a great series of days out. A team entered into the Premier 20 knock out offers even more chances to demonstrate your skill.
If this is not exciting enough we are looking forward to having our new carpet laid during the Christmas break, thus allowing us to return to eight rinks and the council are at long last going to tarmac the approach road from the main road to the car park alongside the Adventure Golf course.
A very friendly club we have a good social side with events such as a race night, murder mystery night, adventure golf night Pre Season Dinner and Presentation night and the annual Christmas Lunch all to look forward to between now and Christmas.
We are open for new members both experienced bowlers and beginners alike, with tuition and skills courses available free to all members.Various Membership fees are available to cover 90 day people etc. So come and join us and benefit from this exciting time.
