On Monday San Miguel Christians were home to Vistabella Fairways, where they lost 2 – 10, 72 shots to 95. The best winning triple were Bob Nesbitt, Jan Farmer and Dave Champion 20 – 8.
Also on Monday, San Miguel Moors were away to Quesada Blenheims where they shared the points 6 – 6, 89 shots to 86. The best winning triple were Noel Davis, Paul Hayward and Lynn Greenland 29 shots to 15.
On Wednesday San Miguel only had one game in the VCL League, San Miguel Sheriffs were home to San Luis Falcons winning 8 – 4, 87 shots to 82.
In the Ladies Singles Gail Willshire won 21 – 15, The Men’s Singles was won by Steve Cantley 21 – 12. In the Pairs Paul Hayward and Dave Greenland lost 15 – 25, and in the Triples Anita Brown, Tom Dalgleish and Eddie Cowan lost 12 – 17. In the Rink’s game Lee Sinclair, Ken Guiney, Lynn Greenland and Fred Willshire won 18 – 13.
A reminder that the Wasps sessions take place Wednesdays 1.30pm for 2.00pm – €5 for an afternoon’s bowling with shoes and bowls available to borrow. Due to the popularity of the Wasps, first time bowlers are asked to attend an initial coaching session on Tuesday afternoons, starting at 1.45pm.
