With the Voyager division having been completed just 2 teams were in action on Monday. San Miguel Orcas won 10 – 2 at home to Greenlands Chestnuts, 99 shots to 70. The best result came from Sharon Louise, Dave Young & Bob Donnelly – 25 – 10. This means that they will at least be in 2nd place in the Discovery League with a game in hand when the table is published later.
San Miguel Dolphins have finished their campaign with a disappointing 2:10 loss to Emerald Isle Titans, 71 shots to 102. The win came from Jan Farmer, Derek Farmer & Steve Parr who won 18 – 12.
On Wednesday, San Miguel were away to Quesada where they lost 10 – 0, Less said the better.
On Friday the Navajos were home to Country Bowls Geckos, losing 4 – 8, 74 shots to 82. Best winning triple were Bob Hanton, Jack Jackson and Frank Scotthern 20 – 11.
The Cherokees were away to San Luis Pumas where they shared the points 6 – 6, 86 shots to 80. Best winning triple were Dave Ottway, Mark Westmoreland and Dave Homer 24 – 9.
The Apaches were away to San Luis Lions where they had “a bad day at the office” losing 12 – 0.
A reminder that the Wasps sessions take place Wednesdays 1.30pm for 2.00pm – €5 for an afternoon’s bowling with shoes and bowls available to borrow.
