Wednesday 25th May last game of the season for La Marina in VCL league – due to a bye the other teams league finishes next week. We won 2 games our Ladies singles, Mo Kidd won 21-13 which was nice to finish with a win after last week’s result, and our rink won 18-11.
Don and Jean Fowkes have been formidable these last couple of weeks and today they were ably supported by Kath Manning and Wendy Latham.
We lost the other 3 games but with good close scores to give a 88 shots each and 1 extra point each. The overall score being 5-7 but Oh does it prove that every shot counts, every rink on both sides I bet could have got that 1 extra shot – well done all and thanks for the entertainment – roll on October.
