Thursday saw the Inaugural Emerald Isle Men’s v San Miguel Men’s clash at San Miguel and the outcome was a home victory by 3.5 to 2.5, aggregate 91-85. Sounds as though it was a great game well done all
At the same time the Ladies played their Annual game at the Isle with the result being a 211 win for the visitors.
On Saturday The Emerald Isle played Country Bowls at the Isle in the Annual John Rimmer Memorial game. I can still see those Yellow Bowls trundling down the rink now, great player and a lovely man.
The club are preparing for the season ahead with league games starting on 11th. Good Luck to all players, have a great season
SAPS is in full swing again now so come along on Saturday afternoon at 1.15, two hours with Bowls and Shoes supplied if needed, and coaching is available for learners if needed.
Bar open as well……or simply come and join the club and play at this championship venue.
