Division (B) The Blues opponents were La Siestas other team The Golds which ended up being a very close fought battle which is reflected in the overall (Shots 87–89), so the Golds received 2 points for the Shots together with wins on three rinks to make the final result 8-4 the winning teams were; Fran & Neil Cox with Ros Stockell (21-11). Jo Elkin, Ken Stringfellow & Alan Mawer (22-18). Pat Moore, Bill & Sue Jordan (17-16). The Blues winners were; Ramsay Sinclair, Tony Dalton & Derek Biggs (23-15). Kathleen Morrisroe, Jim Gracie & Mike Inns (19-14).
Division (C) The Silvers travelled to the Emerald Isle for their afternoon game against the Outlaws which resulted in wins on two rinks; Lesley Howlett, Janet & Graham Doel (17-13). Pat Malden, Alan Carr & George Richardson (18-17). The result being 4-8 (Shots 71-89).
Enterprise The Apollos were at home playing host to Vistabella Albatrosses and won convincingly on two rinks but missing out on the other three with the (Shots 79-87) going to the visitors losing the game 4-8. Well done to the rink winners; Martin Harley, Norman Adcroft & Dave Blackie (25-8). Noel Morrisroe, Wendy & Alan Ralph (28-12).
Discovery The Pioneers got a very good result away at Quesada playing the Diamonds, gaining wins on three rinks but the overall shots going to the home side. Rinks won by; Stan Dibble, Pauline & Lyndon Johnson (22-9). Gordon Paton, Derek Barker & Brian Fraser (15-10). Tracey Paffett, Irene & Dave Laverick (14-11). The game ended sharing the points 6-6 (Shots 70-74).
Voyager A afternoon home game for The Sputniks against Quesada Rubies which saw some good bowling from both teams, but we found the visitors to be far too strong and were only able to secure points on one rink courtesy of; Wayne Howlett, June & David Whitworth (15-10). The game ended 2-10 (Shots 63-125).
