It wasn’t the best start to the week for two of our teams, on Monday morning San Miguel Alsations were home to La Siesta Apollos losing 2 – 8, 58 shots to 73. The winning triple were Pat McEwan, Jan Farmer and Alan Campbell 17 – 11.
San Miguel Beagles were away to El Rancho Pintos winning 6 – 4, 69 shots to 68, the best winning triple were Alan Patterson, Mary Whitelock and Lee Sinclair 31 shots to 14.
On Monday afternoon San Miguel Dalmations were home to La Marina Explorers, losing 2 – 8, 52 shots to 86, the winning triple were Bob Nesbitt, Barry Jones and Dave Champion 25 – 10.
Both of the Friday games were cancelled for health and safety reasons, and will be played at a later date.
A reminder that the Wasps sessions take place Wednesdays 1.30pm for 2.00pm – €5 for an afternoon’s bowling with shoes and bowls available to borrow. Due to the popularity of the Wasps, first time bowlers are asked to attend an initial coaching session on Tuesday afternoons, starting at 1.45pm.
