Benitachell Bowls Club has come to terms with the new restrictions bought on by the Covid epidemic. Club days have continued with caution and now that the restrictions on travel have relaxed slightly some of our Swallows are returning.
Our President, Brian Doggett on the right, congratulates Margaret Harvey, Lynn Stothard and Mike Bailey after a successful first mornings bowling. All three have just returned to Spain after the COVID restrictions relaxed slightly.
The BBC is hoping to see more UK resident members returning as the situation improves and to encourage new comers, who would like to learn to bowl, to come along and enjoy the company and best of all the exercise.
Those members that have returned, along with resident members have been fortunate in witnessing some fantastic bowling in the BBC championship competitions this weekend. (Report to follow).
