Well the start of the league season on Monday for Vistabella, in the Southern League there was a clash in the Voyager Division between our new team the Buggies away to our other team the Eagles who fought in vain against the stronger side losing 1 – 12 and 51 shots to 131.
The Drivers in Discovery Div. went down away to Quesada Diamonds 10 – 2 with 59 shots for and 91 against. Our “A” side, the Albatrosses in the Enterprise Div. took on El Rancho Pintos away with a resounding result of 12 – 0 and 120 shots for and 64 against.
On Wednesday in the Winter League Vistabella ran away with a 10 – 4 win with 127 shots to 81 against La Siesta 2 with a notable win for Scott Malden and Ann Holland 38 – 7.
On Friday in the South Alicante League Div.C the two Vistabella sides the Conquistadors and the new Paradors met with a similar result as the Monday sides the Paradors winning 12- 0 with 115 shots to 56. In Div.B. the Picadors were away to La Siesta Golds winning by 9 – 3 with 78 shots for and 78 shots against. Some really hard fought games ensued with very close scores resulting in the tie of shots.
